Our Community-Based Mental Health Programming
The Planted Brain provides a continuum of trauma-informed mental health services designed to strengthen individuals, organizations, and communities. From therapeutic horticulture and support groups to organizational partnerships and individual therapy, our programs foster healing, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Therapeutic Horticulture Programs
Trauma-informed, nature-based workshops and series that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and community connection through hands-on engagement with plants.

Program Development & Organizational Partnerships
We collaborate with nonprofits, healthcare providers, and community organizations to design and deliver customized mental health programming that meets the unique needs of the communities they serve.

Community Support Groups
Facilitated support groups create safe, welcoming spaces where individuals can process shared experiences, build resilience, and find healing through connection.

Individual & Family Support
Individual, couples, and family therapy services provided by Founder David S. Washington, LCSW, through his Headway practice, offering compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care.
